Our CPSE program (Committee on PreSchool Education) – funded by the New York State Education Department provides services to students with developmental disabilities ages 3 yrs to 5 yrs old.  This program is provided through a collaboration with our sister school- Sunshine Developmental School http://www.sunshineschool.org

State Ed. mandates that CPSE programs follow a Public School calendar for school closings.Free Bus service is provided to and from school.

We provide Educational and Therapy services in the following areas:

Education; Speech and Language; Physical Therapy;Occupational Therapy; Counseling and Play Therapy.

Our curriculum is tailored to meet the individual needs of each child in both an Integrated setting as well as a Special class setting. It is important that we develop activities as indicated on each child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures as mandated by State Ed. when serving students with disabilities. The school provides a success oriented, supportive and nurturing environment, within a developmental learning center model.
